There is no excuse ladies. The countdown is on and whatever your political affiliations you must register to vote. Fear not. Registering doesn't take more than a few minutes of your time. Visit http://www.rockthevote.com/ to fill out the simple form. You'll need a printer to print out the form once you've filled it out electronically. Note that your "ID Number" is either your driving license or social security number. If you don't have either, put a zero in the field and you can proceed by clicking "Prepare Form". You must, however, indicate that you have neither a driving license or social security number on the paper form you print out. Then all you have to do is send it to the appropiate address and you're done!

Everyone’s favorite “Top Model” Eva Pigford walked the red carpet of Tyler Perry’s new movie “Why Did I Get Married.” The premiere was brimming with very well dressed stars like Jill Scott, Janet Jackson and Sharon Neal. Eva looked great in silver but then you get down to the feet and the stripper shoes and things go awry. Her hair and make-up are on point but whose idea was it to put those things on your feet Eva? Spring is the perfect season to show off your girlie-girl side. Think light chiffon, delicate prints and plenty of frills. But don’t just concede to stereotypical feminine lace or colors like baby pink. Be bold and opt for greens, bright reds and even add edge to an outfit with some denim (a la Genevieve Jones). Also play with hemlines. Not everything has to be short to be feminine. Long, flowy dresses and skirts are perfect for spring. On another note, I wish Jennifer Hudson had looked this put together on the Oscar’s red carpet. I wonder if Mr. Talley and Ms. Hudson are still friends...

I’ve been chastised quite a lot (via email and other means of communication) for not including petite fashion enough on this site. I try my people, I try. However, note that it is much more time consuming to find great fashion and photographs of celebrities for petite and plus size posts – I’m working on it though. Here I’m continuing our ‘Jeans 101’ series and focusing on ladies who have a hard time finding jeans that are the right length or size, i.e. sizes 0, 2 or 4.
