Ever notice how that those nations with the most morally controlling written and unwritten laws have the most angst in life? People are raised to fear the most natural parts of life due to be taught to think this way in turn, handing over another slice of our personal lives and freedom over to those who are quick to take it and quick to live a life in a way they claim is not right.
I'm not going on a moralist bender here but speaking of freedoms of our personal lives and when more so when it comes to children. Over the past decade or two, we have been conditioned to view nudity amongst children with horror. 20 years ago you could go to the beach and see children from babies to 10 year olds without clothes on, having a great day out with their families. Today, to do such a thing is an act of pedophilia. Yet the real pedophiles in nations like Australia are barely ever truly punished any more. And sadly, we keep hearing of those who keep teaching us moral values through the positions they hold in our communities, are being charged for sex crimes involving young children. I don't mean a little nudity but actual sex crimes.
We have allowed ourselves to feel ashamed as the people committing the crimes keep telling us how to live. Isn't it time we stopped listening to them and started listening to ourselves?
Often I hear people say how they would love to do something but won't because of the moralisers. Yes, the very same people who keep being charged with serious criminal offences. So why is society still listening to the corrupt as their leaders of morality?
When I took my second eldest child to the Gold Coast who was 8 years old at the time, I let her swim in the inlet without any clothes on. Within 10 minutes, about half a dozen mothers pulled their children back in to them, removed their swimming gear and sent them back in the water naked. You could see just how much happier both the parents and the children were. A few of the parents told me that they wished that they could swim naked too.
We know that we are happy with a natural way of living yet for some reason, we keep rushing to listen to the hypocrites in Government and Church and School Leadership who tell us how to live yet they then go and do the other.
A true freedom is real freedom. A freedom where we're told what is freedom, is not.
