Baked Potato

We're heading quickly into the time of year I like here in lower tropics. While they're freezing themselves down South, I took the time to go out in my backyard after lunch and laid down on the trampoline for a spot of soaking in those rays brim full of Vitamin D.

And there is only way to do it. Naked.

Yes, the feeling of feeling far better off than those far south of me who are wearing all their clothes while I lay out in the sun, wearing nothing but my smug ego as I lay on that trampoline, the makeshift bed on which I snoozed.

Terrific stuff!

Cow Girl Photo

Here is a photo I came across this morning and just had to share with you.

RIP Old Red 1991 - 2011

Born in 1991, I sent Old Red to pasture yesterday to become a donor of body parts. Unless they decide to rebuild her, which I think they do to some cars that come in but I doubt it, then Old Red is off to pasture.

My hands are covered in her blood after I brutally murdered her in the heat of the tropical December summer. You see, I gave her a drink before we left but never put her hat on(radiator cap) and that was her last day.

Old Red had been sitting on the driveway since that fateful December day and now she is gone.

Rust In Peace!

Update: Cute Lil' Emo

Here are a few more of this little hottie.

CSG - It Affects Us All

While I am contemplating the future of this naturist blog, there is an important issue that I must write about for it affects as all. I am talking about CSG or Coal Seaming Gas.

For those who do not know what I am talking about, google 'Gasland' to see what it is doing to American ecology and how it is affecting people financially and health wise. Australia is also starting to have this trouble where farmers have leaking gas wells and bore water that catches fire.

Just 6.4km out from the CBD of Sydney, Australia there will soon be gas well drilling, only about 200 metres away from private residential housing. This is high density housing. All that methane and other chemicals going into the water, the soil and in the air.

West of Sydney approximately 55km's is the Warragamba Dam which holds the fresh town water for much Sydney. It has been found that an application to do fracking adjacent to this dam has been lodged. It was never publicly released. It was leaked or discovered. Poison that water and imagine the consequences.

Despite there being no testing on these chemicals used by Australian Governments, despite all the physical evidence of the extreme contamination CSG does, our politicians are allowing this happen. They are allowing it to happen because many hold financial interests in CSG, many through the names of their spouse so they don't have to register their financial interests.

Now why would I want to post this on a naturist blog?

I am posting this on my naturist blog because this affects all of us. How many of us naturists love the outdoors?

We love to swim in natural pools, lakes, rivers and more but would you consider your lifestyle stolen from you if your local lifestyle spot became contaminated due to CSG? Not just through the water but through the soil and air.

Some say we need to make money but this money is only going to a small handful of people for until they pass that money off and trade it elsewhere, while the people and all of ecology suffer and slowly die from a poisonous death.

STOP CSG - Lock The Gate!

Future of this blog?

I would like to let my readers know that I am thinking of closing this blog down simply because I have been really struggling for ideas. I want a blog that isn't lecturing and such but all I come across are ideas that tend to do just that and so I have remained quiet.

I'm not leaning either way at the moment be it keep or close. Just want to let you all know what I'm thinking.

Street Style: Gabi of Young, Fat & Fabulous

This past weekend over brunch, a group of friends and I were discussing fashion (no surprise there) the subject evolved to fashion blogs and we started naming our favorites. We all had our iPhones, Driods and Blackberrys out so we quickly started googling sites to view each other's recommendations. Hands down the unanimous winner was Young, Fat & Fabulous. If you don't know, please get to know. Gabi Gregg is the blog's savvy and fashion forward author. Not only has she been featured on Vogue Italia's site, she's also MTV's Twitter correspondant. Don't sleep on this talent. Her style choices are to die for and she proves time-and-time again that women can look fabulous at any size! I've gotten so many ideas from her already.
