Getting Hotter

It's getting hot now as January approaches. January being the melt your pants off month in Rockhampton. At five in the morning yesterday, it was already 25.5'C with humidity at 48% and rising.

Wow, what a day to stay naked one would think with all the heat but sadly, such an opportunity didn't exist. It was a busy day starting with a trip to the cinema for a free movie supplied by Rotary every year. Now, as our car only has five seats and we're a family of six, it's not just a single trip each way. No, it's two and as our 9 year old had a friend coming with us, it felt more worth the fuel burned by the car.

We saw Megamind except our eldest. She took herself over to the Narnia line and ended up being with a friend of hers from school. Then it was lunch at Hungry Jack(Burger King). Not that this was the end of the day.

Our eldest was starting work at three thirty so I drove her home so she could get ready for work, drove back into Rockhampton then back home to bring Annie's friend home. Then back to Rockhampton to bring the wife and kids home.

But no, there was more driving for I  had to go back into Rockhampton to bring my daughter home from work which was where I ate dinner and fell asleep on the lounge, not having the energy to get naked until I went to bed some hours later where I slept the rest of the night.

It's Sunday now and finally, I'm getting in some naked time in. Cool Bananas!
